About Me
From spies in the city to toucans in the rainforest, no matter the topic, I create experiences and presentations that people remember. My work is based on meticulous research, planning, and attention to detail….and wrapped in fun.
Millions of visitors have viewed the exhibits I created at the International Spy Museum, including the THEA-winning Operation Spy. I co-developed the Hands On History Room at Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, the CityVision program at the National Building Museum, and the Rolling Rainforest for Discovery Creek Children’s Museum.
My interests span subjects from history to the environment to design. I pioneered techniques in making exhibit content accessible for people who are blind or low-vision. I have spoken at organizations around the world on wide-ranging topics. My publications include the award-winning book, Why Design?.
An experienced museum educator, I have provided consultant services nationwide and internationally. For me it’s all about working with diverse teams and creating partnerships that bring challenging topics to life.
